LIZ AND OWEN WILLIAMS

Trusttee's and Committee members

Liz is a retired occupational therapist and continues to be general secretary of an overseas development agency, a small national one and another major counselling UK Charity. She loves living in Mitchel Troy and hope that funding can be found for this very badly needed facility in the village.  Owen was in Business for 17 years and then had a career change and has been a Parish Priest for four parishes supporting communities far and wide.

CLARE CATTO

Committee member

My family and I moved to Mitchel Troy in 2016.  We don't have any family in the area so making new friend's locally is really important for us.

I am a former diplomat who worked for the UK Foreign Office for 11 years before having children. I currently work as a sports coach and run a local outdoor playgroup which is attended by local families who are all keen for more opportunities to meet outdoors

TORI JAMES-DARLINGTON

Committee member

I have lived in Mitchel Troy since having the first of my three children in 2009. My links to the village date back to my days at Mitchel Troy Playgroup in the 1980's.

Professionally, I am a Stakeholder and Relationship Manager for the Ministry of Defence. Experienced in communications events and project management, I am keen to support the venture for the good of the local community which I feel sadly lacks a real community focal point (especially for children) at present.

KATIE ADAMS

Committee member

My family and I moved to Mitchel Troy in the summer of 2017, having lived in the Big Smoke for five years previously.  As a teacher, I am well aware of how important outdoor play is for children's development.  With our three children, playgrounds have been high on our agenda for the last nine years, and we have come to see them as a vital part of every local community.  We look forward to having one of our very own to bring to our village

I sat on the South West Forum for ESF and LSIS bids.
